About the Scheme

Commercial & Legal is proud to be a part of the 2026 AULSA Uniform Clerkship Scheme. This scheme is designed to provide penultimate and final-year South Australian law students with the opportunity to apply for clerkship programs across a range of prestigious firms.

About our Clerkship

We offer a 4–6-week paid clerkship on a full-time or part-time basis involving a broad range of practical legal work in our firm.

To provide our clerks with comprehensive practical experience, we ensure they are exposed to all areas of our practice, including property law, leasing, commercial law, dispute resolution and litigation, and wills and estates

We believe that undertaking a diverse clerkship that reflects the real day-to-day of a legal professional is essential to gaining employment as a graduate.

During your clerkship, you will work closely with senior practitioners, attend regular internal professional development seminars and participate in business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior practitioners with preparing briefs and other legal documents
• Performing legal research tasks
• Providing administrative support to senior legal practitioners
• Working collaboratively with other law clerks to ensure consistency and continuity of clerk services
