Commercial & Legal is a cutting edge boutique law firm located in the Adelaide CBD, specialising in property law and conveyancing together with general commercial law.  

Due to continued growth and increasing demand from our loyal and expanding client base, we are offering a genuine opportunity for a junior commercial lawyer to join our team.

You will work directly with the Senior Lawyers of the firm to deliver strategic, commercially sound advice to a broad range of clients.

Ideally suited to a 1-2 year PQE lawyer with Commercial Law experience, this is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys client contact, autonomy and being part of a high-performing team.

Ideally you will have:

• 1-2 years Post Admission Experience
• Demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and/or
• Demonstrated experience in commercial transactions and corporate governance
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadliines
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements including service contracts, supplier agreements, licensing arrangements, shareholder agreements etc.
• Provide legal advice on contract interpretation, risk mitigation, and compliance.
• Assisting with corporate governance and commercial transactions.
• Supporting other practice areas as required
• Research and prepare regulatory advice
