We are seeking an experienced Leasing Paralegal to join our Commercial Property team and work directly with a leading Commercial Leasing Partner on high-quality leasing matters.

This role offers hands-on involvement across a broad range of commercial, retail and industrial leasing transactions, with genuine autonomy, responsibility and client exposure.

About the role

Working one-on-one with the Commercial Leasing Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of commercial leasing work from start to finish. You will manage matters across the full leasing lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation support, execution and post‑completion.

This is an ideal role for a capable and commercially minded paralegal who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-performing property practice.

Key Responsibilities

     Managing commercial leasing matters from commencement to completion

·         Drafting and amending:

• Agreements to Lease
• Commercial, retail and industrial leases
• Deeds of variation, assignments, renewals and surrenders
• Incentive deeds and ancillary documents

·         Preparing execution versions and coordinating signing processes

·         Reviewing Heads of Agreement and ensuring documentation reflects agreed commercial terms

·         Conducting and coordinating due diligence searches (titles, ASIC, property searches)

·         Preparing lease abstracts, summaries and client reporting

·         Liaising with clients, agents, landlords, tenants and external solicitors

· Managing key dates, milestones and conditions precedent

. Supporting post‑completion and lease administration requirements

About You

You will bring:

·         Proven experience in a commercial or retail leasing paralegal role (law firm or in‑house)

·         Strong knowledge of commercial leasing documentation and processes

·         Experience supporting a Partner or senior lawyer in a property practice

·         Excellent organisation and time‑management skills

·         Exceptional attention to detail and document accuracy

·         Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills

·         Confidence working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
